Industrial 4.0(Industry 4.0) is based on the different stages of industrial development. According to the consensus, industrial 1.0 is the era of steam engine, industrial 2.0 is the era of electrification, industrial 3.0 is the era of information, and industrial 4.0 is the era of using information technology to promote industrial change, that is, the era of intelligence.
The concept of industrial 4.0 first appeared in Germany and was officially launched at Hannover Messe in 2013. Its core purpose is to improve the competitiveness of German industry and occupy the first opportunity in the new round of industrial revolution. Subsequently, the German government included one of the ten future projects proposed in the German 2020 high technology strategy. The project is jointly funded by the German Federal Office of Education and Research and the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, with an estimated investment of 0.2 billion million euros. It aims to improve the intelligent level of manufacturing industry, establish intelligent factories with adaptability, resource efficiency and genetic engineering, and integrate customers and business partners in business processes and value processes. Its technical basis is the network entity system and the Internet of Things.
The so-called industrial 4.0 in Germany refers to the use of the Cyber-Physical System (CPS) to digitize and intelligently supply, manufacturing and sales information in production, and finally achieve fast, effective and personalized product supply.
The cooperation between "Made in China 2025" and "Industrial 4.0" in Germany has a long history. In May 2015, the State Council officially issued the "Made in China 2025" to deploy and comprehensively promote the implementation of the manufacturing power strategy.
Industrial 4.0 has entered a new era of Sino-German cooperation. In the "China-Germany Cooperation Action Plan" signed by China and Germany, there are 4 items related to industrial 4.0 cooperation. The first article clearly states that the digitization of industrial production is "industrial 4.0". The future economic development of China and Germany is of great significance. The two sides believe that the two governments should provide policy support for enterprises to participate in the process.
